Queer Sex Education

. . . they definitely don't teach this in health class.

Speaking of queer-friendly sex education…

what did you learn in practice that you did not learn in sex ed?  If you didn’t have sex ed (or had abstinence-only sex ed), what would have been really helpful to learn?

  1. patchworkberry answered: You can get STDs from oral sex. (i was taught public school abstinence)
  2. rattyrattyjo answered: That you can indeed pass STIs if you’re having vulva-on-vuvla sex.
  3. thestarsgowaltzingout answered: Haven’t had any, uh, practice, but I only learned about the existence of dental dams online. Also how the pill works- no one explained irl.
  4. wrcsolace answered: i mean i did a lot of self-teaching and read up. *most* if not all of my knowledge abt sex came outside of formal education.
